Apparently there have been some problems with Webkinz trading cards being bought off of store shelves, whether it is the feature codes on the card, or something else, Webkinz officials have posted a “bulletinz” on their site that has said the following:

“If you have purchased packs or boxes of our Webkinz Trading Cards, and you find they are damaged or defective in any way, please return the sales receipt, all contents, and packaging to:”

They also ask that if you do send in the defective cards that you include a letter detailing the problem, along with it you should have your first and last name, and also a phone number just in case they need to contact you  for any reason. The Webkinz officials have also stated that if any of the cards are bent whenever you receive a new pack, they will also replace those gladly, however, do not support any card replacements for cards received from secondary market (eBay)
